Medcan Wellness Plan
Many Medcan Clients count on our Wellness Clinic to look after their healthcare year-round because we provide the same exemplary care and service you experience during your Comprehensive Health Assessment.
Many of the services we provide as part of your year-round care are not covered by OHIP. For your convenience we offer one annual fee called the Medcan Wellness Plan to cover all uninsured services related to your Wellness Clinic Appointments.
Medcan’s Wellness Plan Services Include:
- 95% same day appointment and extended hours
- 24/7 telephone access to medical assistance
- Preferred pricing on Medcan services
- Uninsured services related to doctors’ appointments at the clinic (i.e. work absence letters, insurance forms, long distance calls, etc.)
- 24/7 global medical travel assistance for emergency assistance worldwide and recommendations regarding referral options across North America and abroad
- Navigation of the health systems in Canada and the U.S. (primarily through Johns Hopkins).
Through our growing range of in-house specialists and our extensive provider network, we ensure that you receive the follow-up care you need. When health concerns arise, we make every effort to see you within one business day, and if you have concerns after-hours, we are available 24/7 by telephone. Our Clients benefit from our dedicated Nurse Consultant Team who work closely with our network of in-house and off-site specialists to provide access to the best quality care in both Canada and the United States. Clients also have access to myMedcan, a secure online portal where you can conveniently access your personal information regarding Medcan appointments, results and referrals.
