Client Education Event: The Latest In Cosmetic Enhancement
We were delighted to kick off the New Year, by inviting clients and guests to an exclusive evening at the Medcan Clinic. Even though it was one of the coldest nights on record, Senior Medical Consultant and resident dermatologist for Canada AM, Dr. Paul Cohen, managed to warm up the audience with a light-hearted overview on the latest in cosmetic enhancement.
Dr. Cohen discussed the popularity of non-surgical cosmetic procedures as an attractive choice for clients, including the injectable treatment (Botox® Cosmetic) and dermal filler (Juvederm™). Both of which have been rated as #1 in the country. Dr. Cohen also pointed out that there has been a rise in the number of both women and men having the procedures done. In fact, of the six hundred thousand cosmetic procedures performed in 2005 in Canada, 17% were men.
