Winnie Wong, MD, CCFP (EM)
Senior Medical ConsultantDr. Wong obtained her medical degree from the University of Toronto and completed her Family Medicine Residency at the Toronto Western Hospital. She also completed a Fellowship in Emergency Medicine at the University of British Columbia, St. Paul’s Hospital. She was Chief Resident during both her Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine training. Dr. Wong is a certificant of the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP). She is an emergency physician at the University Health Network (Toronto General and Toronto Western Hospitals) and has a primary and urgent care practice in the community. She is also a Medical Consultant for Canada’s largest pharmaceutical company, Apotex Inc. Dr. Wong is actively involved in teaching of medical students and residents in both the hospital and community setting. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine.
