Tim Cook, MD, FRCPC, DTMH, MPH

Associate Medical Director

Dr. Cook is a specialist in internal medicine and tropical medicine. He is a medical graduate of Queen's University (gold medalist), obtained his fellowship in internal medicine (FRCPC) from the University of Toronto and his diploma in tropical medicine (DTMH) from the London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. He has held multiple senior medical appointments in the military (retired lieutenant colonel) and has served as a medical consultant to industry in travel medicine. Dr. Cook is an active lecturer and currently an associate staff in the department of Internal Medicine at the University Health Network and Mt. Sinai Hospital in Toronto. He has served on a Pandemic Flu Preparedness committee with the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and is an advisor to the Canadian Forces Directorate of Preventive Medicine. His areas of interest include infectious diseases, lipid disorders, endocrinology and preventive medicine.
