Suzanne Wong, MD, FACOG, FRCSC, RDMS

Dr. Wong obtained her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA where she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital. She is active staff and Medical Director of Obstetrics, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, St. Joseph’s Hospital, Toronto. Previously she was clinical staff at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston and Clinical Instructor, Harvard Medical School (1999-2003). She is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) as well as Diplomat of the American Board of OB/GYN (DABOG). Dr. Wong is a registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS). She is an Assistant Professor, University of Toronto and active member of several hospital committees. Some of her active leadership roles include President, Ontario Medical Association (District 11); Co-Clerkship Director, University of Toronto Medical Students and Chair of the Perinatal Point of Care Team and Credentials Committee, St. Joseph’s Hospital. Dr. Wong has been an expert for multiple medical advisory groups and panels (pregnancy, child health, addictions, fetal health, undergraduate education, quality assurance). She has been recognized with several teaching awards at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard and the University of Toronto including the Bayer Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching (2008). Dr. Wong is an active lecturer for medical residents and physicians and has published articles. She has a special interest in preventive medicine and women’s health.
