Scott Gledhill, MD, CCFP
Acting Director, Medcan Wellness PlanDr. Gledhill obtained his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario, Family Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, University of Toronto and is a certificant of the College of Family Physicians (CCFP). Dr. Gledhill is active staff in Emergency Medicine and a Cardiac Surgical Assistant at Toronto General Hospital and previously at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket. Dr. Gledhill was active in rural medicine/family practice in Terrance Bay, Ontario (1996-2003) holding several senior positions including Chief of Staff, McCausland Hospital, Medical Director of Telehealth as well as responsibilities for inpatient and Emergency department coverage. He has been involved with various committees (Board of Governors, Executive, Finance and Pharmacy) while at McCausland Hospital. Dr. Gledhill has held past appointments as Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Family Medicine, McMaster University and Faculty Development Co-ordinator for the Northern Ontario Medical Program (NOMP). He has also been a former Family Medicine Preceptor (NOMP) and Examiner for the College of Family Physicians Certification Exams. Dr. Gledhill is currently a medical consultant to the NHL Entry Draft, Firefighter Applicant Selection and Police Constable Selection Project for the province of Ontario. His interests include preventive medicine.
