Oren Shemtov, MD, CCFP (EM)
Senior Medical ConsultantDr. Shemtov obtained his medical degree from Queen’s University, Family Medicine Residency (CCFP) and Fellowship in Emergency Medicine (EM) at the University of Western Ontario. He is an active staff Emergency Medicine Physician at North York General Hospital and certified in Emergency Ultrasound. Dr. Shemtov is a Lecturer for Family Medicine Residents and course teacher for medical students on history and physical examination skills at the University of Toronto. He has been a research assistant in the Departments of Urology and Molecular Genetics, Hospital for Sick Children during his medical training and has published articles in his areas of interest. Dr. Shemtov has lectured at various hospital based medical rounds in the area of Emergency Medicine and received academic awards. His interests include preventive medicine.
