Natalie Mamen, MD, CCFP (EM, Dip Sports Med)

Dr. Mamen obtained her medical degree from McMaster University, Family Medicine Residency at the University of Toronto (where she was Chief Resident at Toronto East General Hospital), Emergency Medicine Certification from the Canadian College of Family Physicians and a Diploma in Sports Medicine. She holds a Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology from York University as well as being an accomplished varsity level athlete in various sports (Provincial and National Titles in Gymnastics; Queen’s University All Canadian). Dr. Mamen is a certificant of the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP). She is a full time emergency medicine physician at Toronto East General Hospital where she is active teaching residents and medical students in addition to having hospital privileges at Mt. Sinai Hospital. She is a Lecturer, Department of Family and Community Medicine, University of Toronto and Tutor, Determinants of Community Health, University of Toronto. Dr. Mamen has received awards in the areas of teaching excellence and most recently the 2008 Winner of the Toronto East General Hospital Emerging Teacher of the Year Award (emergency department).
