Lianne Tile, MD, MEd, FRCP (C)
Senior Medical ConsultantDr. Tile is a general internist at the Toronto General Hospital (TGH) and the University Health Network (UHN). She is attending clinical staff in the Internal Medicine Inpatient Consultation Service at Mt. Sinai Hospital and UHN as well as in the Osteoporosis Clinic at TGH. Dr. Tile holds a doctorate in medicine (MD) from Queen’s University, and she completed her postgraduate fellowship specialty training in internal medicine (FRCP) at Queen’s University and the University of Toronto. She was chief resident at St. Michael’s Hospital during her training. She also holds a Masters of Education in health professional education from the University of Toronto and is certified as a clinical bone densitomitrist and by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Tile is currently a co-investigator with several clinical trials of osteoporosis and women’s health at University Health Network. Her other interests include medical consultation, and curriculum design.
