Carrie Beallor, MD, CCFP, DTMH
Senior Medical ConsultantDr. Beallor obtained her medical degree and completed her family medicine residency with the University of Toronto where she was also chief resident at the Scarborough General Hospital. She has a specialty interest in travel medicine and obtained her diploma in tropical medicine and hygiene from the University of Alabama and Cayatano Heredia University. Dr. Beallor has published articles in her areas of interest of travel health and received multiple academic awards during her medical training. She was former Chairperson of the International Health Programme, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto and member of the Canadian Committee to Advise on Tropical Medicine and Travel (CATMAT). She has international medical training experience and has been involved in research projects in the developing world. Dr. Beallor maintains an active community based family medicine practice with interests in preventive medicine.
