Bryan Moran, MD, CCFP

Senior Medical Consultant

Dr. Moran obtained his medical degree (MD) and completed his Family Medicine Residency at the University of Toronto.  He is a certificant of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and received post graduate training in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (Southlake Hospital), Methadone Treatment (Addiction Research Foundation) and Brief Psychotherapy (Brief Therapy Training Centre of Canada).  Dr. Moran currently has hospital privileges at St. Michael’s Hospital in the Division of Cardiac Surgery where he is a Cardiac Surgical Assistant/Clinical Associate.  He has been a past Lecturer in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto, conducting workshops in his areas of interest as well as the teaching of medical students and residents.  Dr. Moran has experience in family medicine having worked in both academic settings (Department of Family and Community Medicine, University Health Network, Toronto Western Division, 1989-1992) as well as community based practice (1992-2003) with particular interests in obstetrics, psychotherapy, geriatrics and clinical clerk training.  Dr. Moran is also the Director of Friends of The Orphans, which is a charitable organization that helps provide support to orphans in Guatemala.  His professional interests include preventive medicine.
