Senior Medical Consultant, GastroenterologyDr. Sachedina obtained his medical degree and completed an internship in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. He went on to residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan and then completed specialty fellowship training in Gastroenterology at the University of Toronto. Dr. Sachedina is an active staff gastroenterologist at William Osler Health Centre where he developed a comprehensive emergency on call gastroenterology service in 1991. He was Site Chief, Department of Medicine (2000-2001) and Chair, Tissue and Transfusion Committee (1998-2000) at William Osler Health Centre. Prior to that , Dr. Sachedina was a consultant gastroenterologist, Department of Medicine at the Toronto Western Hospital, University Health Network.
