Alan Barolet, MD, PhD, FRCPC

Dr. Barolet received his medical degree (MD) and PhD from the University of Toronto. He is a specialist trained both in internal medicine and cardiology certified by the Royal College of Physicians of Canada. Dr. Barolet completed his fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology at St. Michael's Hospital, University of Toronto. He is a staff physician, Division of Cardiology at Mount Sinai Hospital and University Health Network with a special interest in Interventional Cardiology and Assistant Professor, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. Dr. Barolet has conducted research and published several articles in his areas of interest of cardiology. He remains active with teaching at the University and was recently awarded the 2008 Individual Teaching Excellence Award, Undergraduate at Mt. Sinai Hospital recognizing exemplary teachers nominated by their students.
