Reopening Medcan

With more on-site services set to resume on Wednesday, June 3rd, many of our offerings will still be accessible virtually as we gradually transition back to our home base.

What’s on at 150 York?

  • Annual Health Assessments. In-clinic appointments resumed on May 20th. While we’re happy to welcome you back, we will continue to limit the number of daily appointments at this time. This will help us manage social distancing restrictions. In the meantime, if you’re due or overdue for your Annual Health Assessment and wish to be seen immediately, you may want to consider an In-Home Annual Health Assessment.
  • Year-Round Care. Since the COVID-19 crisis began, we’ve been here to support you 7 days a week—at our physical Year-Round Care clinic here at 150 York (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and virtually (7 a.m. to 11 p.m.). The Year-Round Care clinic remains open, both on-site and virtually.
  • Refine by Medcan. For the time being, we’re only booking appointments that are identified as urgent care (Monday to Friday). If you’d like to join our waitlist for a specific service, please send a note to and we’ll notify you when an appointment is available.
  • Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation. All services will resume on-site on June 3rd, accompanied by personal protective equipment (PPE) and physical distancing guidelines.
  • On-site personal training, group fitness and fitness coaching will proceed on June 8th, with the exception of Fascial Strength Training, which will be unavailable until physical distancing measures are lifted.
  • Mental Well-Being. On-site appointments with Dr. Gina Di Giulio will resume on June 3rd. All other psychology and mind health sessions will remain virtual for the time being.
  • Nutrition. Programs will resume on-site on June 3rd.
  • Weight Management. This program will resume on-site on June 8th.
  • Genetics and Genetic Counselling. Programs will resume on-site on June 8th.

If you’re not quite ready to visit our physical location, you’re welcome to book a virtual appointment instead for any of the following services:

  • Year-Round Care
  • Dedicated Care
  • M Care
  • Weight Management
  • Mental Health
  • Nutrition
  • Genetics
  • Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation

How to Protect Yourself / What to Do

Reduce the spread of infection with these simple daily practices.

Replace handshakes with a fist bump, slight bow or elbow bump.

Use your elbow to touch elevator buttons and light switches.

When possible, close doors with your hip or a closed fist.

Use disinfectant wipes to clean frequently touched objects and surfaces.

Wash your hands often with soap and water (for at least 30 seconds). If soap and water aren’t available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer instead.

Keep a bottle of hand sanitizer inside your car and at all of your home’s entrances.

Use a tissue to block your cough or sneeze, then toss it in the garbage and wash your hands immediately.
