Fitness Appraisal
Many health issues are directly or indirectly related to your fitness level.
The fitness appraisal will test your strength, flexibility, body fat, and waist girth to determine your risk for obesity-related disease, and also test your VO2 max level. VO2 max is the maximum capacity of your body to utilize oxygen during exercise, which gives an accurate assessment of overall physical fitness.
You will also be asked to test your muscular strength and endurance levels by performing sit-ups and push-ups.
