Screening Services
Mole Mapping - a baseline tracking tool for detecting and tracking changes in the appearance of your moles using a high
security body photography system. This is important for skin cancer prevention. Medcan Dermatologist, Dr. Cohen provides an analysis of the photos and works with other Medcan physicians to ensure that changes in moles are identified from year to year.
VISIA® Complexion Assessment - an in-depth analysis of your facial skin health, including pigmentation, UV spots, wrinkles, pores and sun damage. The analysis will allow you to see the true condition of your facial skin not visible to the naked eye. During your consultation Marni Gould, Medcan’s Skin Care and Rejuvenation Specialist will make recommendations for treatment and preventive care.
Skin Rejuvenation Treatments
PCASkin® Professional Peels - customized formulations designed to stimulate, firm up, and tighten skin. The peels help reduce the look of facial lines and smooth skin texture, as well as treat skin discolouration and redness, and clear blemished skin.
Limelight Photofacials – a series of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatments that improve the appearance of rosacea, flushing, broken
capillaries, sun damaged skin, age spots, skin texture and photo aging.
Laser Genesis - treatment for fine lines, wrinkles, texture, pores, and redness.
Vein Removals - for spider and reticular veins on the legs and for fine and stubborn veins on the face.

Paul Cohen, MD, FRCPC, DABD
Senior Medical Consultant, Dermatology
Dr. Cohen obtained his medical degree and fellowship in dermatology from the University of Toronto
and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology. He is a recipient of the Ben Fisher Galderma
Fellowship in Clinical and Surgical Dermatology award. Dr. Cohen completed additional fellowship
training in the areas of pediatric, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. He has published articles and
been a lecturer in various aspects of dermatology. He is active in the media and is currently Canada
AM's resident dermatologist and has appeared in over 80 television programs.

Marni Gould
Skin Care and Rejuvenation Specialist
Educated in both Ottawa and Toronto, Marni joins the Medcan Clinic with over 5 years of experience in
Cosmetic Dermatology. She is a Certified Laser Technician and holds diplomas in both
Microdermabrasion and Chemical Peels. Marni brings with her to Medcan an extensive knowledge of
facial injectables and a specialty in skin health rejuvenation.
