Founded in 1987, we’ve become Canada’s leading preventive healthcare clinic, with 40 physicians, 240 staff and a 50,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility, conveniently located in the heart of Toronto’s financial district.

We look after management teams from leading corporations as well as individuals interested in proactively managing their health and well-being.

The equivalent of our Comprehensive Health Assessment would take weeks or months to coordinate through a family physician, but at Medcan it takes just four hours because our doctors, nurses, technicians and leading-edge equipment are all here under one roof. We’ve built a team of outstanding clinicians across a number of medical specialties and our years of experience within the Canadian healthcare system allow us to be an active advocate for our clients.

The Medcan Clinic and Johns Hopkins Medicine International (JH International) have entered into a collaboration to bring awareness of Johns Hopkins' expertise and best practices in healthcare to the Canadian population. These services include the use of video conferencing, integrated case management and a seamless referral system to provide Medcan clients with world-class care.

The collaboration also involves medical education, clinical observerships and medical research focused specifically on preventive health. The Johns Hopkins Hospital has been ranked #1 in the United States for eighteen consecutive years, according to U.S. News & World Report magazine.
